Michael Schimmel is Founder of Boutique Funeral Group and Sympathy Brands, where he leads the strategic vision and growth of the organization’s portfolio of businesses, including shiva.com, Cemetery.com, and eCondolence. In this role, he is responsible for guiding innovation, strengthening community-based funeral home partnerships, and advancing the systems and services that support families through end-of-life matters with care, dignity, and compassion.

Mark Kittnar is Chief Operating and Information Officer where he leads operations and technology across Boutique Funeral Group and Sympathy Brands. His work centers on supporting funeral home teams and the families they serve, ensuring every interaction is thoughtful, seamless, and grounded in care. Through his leadership, Mark helps build the systems and tools that make it easier for families to navigate difficult moments with clarity, compassion, and support.

Rob Gaskill is Boutique Funeral Group’s Regional Manager and Funeral Director in Charge and currently serves as President of the Oregon Mortuary and Cemetery Board. He began his funeral service career in 1984, becoming Oregon’s youngest licensed funeral director at age 19. Rob joined Estacada Funeral Chapel and Sandy Funeral Home in 2002 and purchased Estacada Funeral Chapel in 2016. Deeply involved in his community, he has served on the City Council, Budget Committee, Arts Commission, and Chamber of Commerce and currently chairs the Mt. Hood Hospice Board.
